Tricks of the morning sunlight

August 27, 2014

parkade-of-long-shadows

Every morning the sun comes up and slowly suffuses my waking world — the parkade where I sleep — with golden light.

.It’s a nice thing.

I say slowly but there is a brief moment (today it was at about 6:55 a.m.) of sudden sharp intensity, when long fingers of sunlight appear to reach into “my” parkade.

I don’t know if they ever find what they’re looking for but the fingers fade quickly, leaving me to muse such silliness as I will.

And then I get on with my day. Click the image to enlarge it.
