If the police hadn’t arrived, I shutter to think
Late yesterday afternoon, rather than working on my post about the California drought, I was in the Vancouver rain, plotting to take my umpteenth arty apartment-buildings-reflected-in-wet-pavement photo.
Thankfully, before I could click the shutter release and commit my hackneyed image to pixels, two Vancouver Police officers quietly drove up behind me in their shiny black Dodge Charger police cruiser.
They were hunting for two suspicious-looking individuals seen thereabouts roaming the Fairview alleys and may have thought that I was them, standing very close together, one behind the other.
I wasn’t either of the people they were looking for but the officers could content themselves with at least having prevented a serious offense against photography.
As they proceeded on their way (serial offender that I am) I proceeded to take my umpteenth arty automobile-reflected-in-wet-pavement-photo. Click the image to enlarge it.
