The clouds cradle a cold-looking moon
Catching any of the glory of the nighttime sky is ordinarily quite beyond my little adventure camera. But at 11 p.m. Sunday, the sight of the red-haloed moon, swaddled in dense, undulating cloud, was too breathtakingly majestic to let pass.
And by tricking the camera into different light meter settings for three exposures, I managed to get a shot that just barely conveys the gist of the original as I saw it, which is better than I could’ve hope for. Click the image to enlarge it.
