Missed our first white Christmas in 8 years by as many hours
It’s snowing again in Vancouver, B.C.—heavily in fact. Forecasters say that we could see up to 25 centimetres of the white stuff today. But who cares? It’s December 26 after all.

The snow began falling in Vancouver’s Fairview neighbour just as I was getting out of my parkade sleeping spot this morning, which means that the city actually came within a handful of hours of having a white Christmas for only the fourth time in 20 years and for the first since 2008, when over 40 cm of snow fell on Christmas eve.
